Zakatala
Zakatala rugs are Caucasian carpets associated with the Zakatala region, located in present-day Azerbaijan near the border with Georgia. These rugs typically feature bold geometric designs, strong color contrasts, and tribal motifs, characteristic of Caucasian weaving traditions. Zakatala carpets are valued for their robust structure and distinctive regional style. Zakatala is the the name of a region in south Caucasus. In this region there are a group of villages that made variety of rugs mostly with Kazak or Avar designs.
