Verneh

Verneh refers to a type of Caucasian flatweave textile, primarily produced in the Azerbaijan region. These weavings are created using a soumac (sumak) technique, resulting in a durable fabric with a slightly raised pattern. Verneh pieces often feature animal figures, geometric motifs, and symbolic tribal designs, and were commonly used as bags or covers.
