Seychour rugs are a type of Caucasian carpet associated with the Kuba region of Azerbaijan.
These rugs are known for their fine geometric patterns, intricate detailing, and balanced compositions, typical of Kuba weaving traditions.
Seychour rugs were made in the Kuba region with mostly a broad X repeated down the field with often Ivory, yellow or or rarely green field. Also typical is their use of "running dog' border and a particularly clear red in the inner border.
From Seychour also comes the Gol Farang (carpet of roses), a Caucasian version of European influenced designs with field packed with cabbage roses in vivid colors.
