Qashkuli rugs are woven by the Qashkuli subgroup of the Qashqai tribal confederation in southwestern Iran. These carpets are typically known for their finer weave and more detailed designs compared to other Qashqai tribal rugs. They often feature geometric patterns, medallions, and occasionally more intricate floral elements. Qashkuli rugs represent a more refined branch of Qashqai weaving traditions. Qashkuli is a sub tribe of the Qashqais. The more finely knotted of the Qashqai are attributed to the Qashqulies. Wefts are usually dyed red. Warps are offset. Many of their rugs are woven around Firuzabad. The designs include boteh (paisley), Herati pattern and the adoption of the Indian Millefleurs prayer rugs.
