Manyas rugs are Anatolian carpets woven in the Manyas region of western Turkey, near the Marmara Sea. These rugs typically display bold geometric designs and traditional motifs, reflecting the village weaving traditions of the region. Manyas carpets are part of the broader Anatolian tribal rug tradition. Manyas is a little town not far from Bergama. Since Bergama is a well known center of rug weaving and a major distribution center of rugs for Centuries, almost all rugs made in Manyas were sold as Bergama rugs.
