Lou Lan
Lou Lan refers to textiles associated with the ancient region of Loulan in the Tarim Basin of Central Asia (modern Xinjiang, China). This area was an important center along the Silk Road, and textiles found there reflect a mixture of Chinese, Central Asian, and early nomadic influences. Lou Lan textiles are important for understanding early textile history in Central Asia.
