Leaders of the World/Mashahekhin
This is a group of rugs depicting the images of various leaders and kings. These subjects contained mainly Persian kings and mythological figures along with images of prophets and international famous dignitaries. The names of the figures are cardiographed in the border as well as in the field. In most cases the rugs were made in Lavar Kirman but there are similar type rugs from Kashan area. These rugs are also known as Mashahekhin rugs (Dignitaries rugs)
