Lakai Embroidery

Lakai embroidery refers to textiles produced by the Lakai people of Central Asia, particularly in Uzbekistan. These embroideries are known for their bold, colorful patterns and expressive designs, often featuring geometric or symbolic motifs. Lakai textiles are an important part of Central Asian decorative arts and reflect the cultural traditions of the region. Lakais are subtribes of the Uzbeks of Uzbekistan. They produce brightly colred, heavily embroided, small house hold items, such as panels, pouches and wall hangings.
