Jozan

Jozan rugs are woven in the Jozan region of central Iran, near the city of Malayer. These carpets are known for their fine weaving, floral patterns, and medallion designs, often reflecting influences from nearby Persian weaving centers. Jozan rugs are appreciated for their refined appearance and balanced compositions. A village in Northwestern Iran, south of Malayer. Rugs from Jozan and surrounding villages are similar to early 20 Century Sarouk rugs with somehow geometric elements.
