Joshegan
A town in north central Iran, south of Kashan. Rugs have been woven in Joshegan since 18 Century. The design for which Joshegan is famed is an all over lozenge pattern, each lozenge consisting of a geometricized floral motif. This design may include a small medallion and spandrels. The design has been widely copied.
