Jezwa

Jezwa rugs are a type of Caucasian carpet, associated with regional village weaving traditions. These rugs typically display geometric patterns, bold motifs, and strong color contrasts, characteristic of Caucasian weaving styles. Jezwa carpets reflect the diversity of design found among Caucasian village rugs. Zejwa is the name of a village south of Kuba in the Caucasus. These are high quality items woven with a unique shape repeated medallions that resemble somehow the Adler Kazak medallions but more squared.
