Jaff Jaff rugs are woven by the Jaff Kurdish tribe, one of the largest Kurdish tribes located in regions of western Iran and eastern Iraq. These carpets are typically characterized by repeating diamond or lattice patterns, strong geometric designs, and rich color palettes, often dominated by deep reds and blues. Jaff rugs reflect the tribal weaving traditions of the Kurdish people and are valued for their durability and bold decorative style. Jaff is the name of a Kurdish sub tribe living in Western Iran. Many of their weavings consist of pile bags mostly with a repeated diamond shape designs.
