Geirus, Gerous, Garrus
Geirous was formerly a designation for Bidjar carpets in Northwest Persia as well as the name of Kurdish sub tribe of the area. A design of large Bidjar carpets of the 19 Century consisting of a system of arabesques in red or navy blue field color.
There are 16 Century carpets with a similar design, most probably related with the Dragon carpets.
