Crane
The crane is a symbolic motif frequently found in Chinese carpets and textiles. In Chinese culture, the crane represents longevity, wisdom, and immortality. The carne is a symbol of long life and is used in Chinese rug designs. It was also the emblem of first degree officials in the Manchu court.
