Arts and Craft

The Arts and Crafts movement emerged in the late 19th century as a reaction against industrial mass production. The movement emphasized traditional craftsmanship, natural materials, and simple design inspired by medieval and folk art. One of the most influential designers associated with the movement was William Morris, whose textile and carpet designs featured stylized floral patterns and rich natural colors. Carpets produced in the Arts and Crafts style reflect a renewed appreciation for hand craftsmanship and traditional decorative arts.
