Afshan
Afshan Design Afshan is a carpet design in which floral motifs are scattered across the field without a central medallion. The word Afshan comes from Persian and means “scattered” or “sprinkled.” This design style is commonly found in Persian carpets, particularly those woven in Kashan, Kirman, and Tabriz.
