Demirji, Demirci Kula

Demirci, Demirji (Turk. "blacksmith," "ironmonger". A town of northwest Anatolia producing red-wefted rugs sometimes designated by the trade as KomUrcii Kiila ("coalman's hat" or "charcoal burner's hat"). Delphinium These rugs are single-wefted or alternately single and double-wefted within the same rug. They have dark colors and an arch at both ends.
