Qashkuli, Qashguli

Qashkuli is a sub tribe of the Qashqais. The more finely knotted of the Qashqai are attributed to the Qashqulies. Wefts are usually dyed red. Warps are offset. Many of their rugs are woven around Firuzabad. The designs include boteh (paisley), Herati pattern and the adoption of the Indian Millefleurs prayer rugs.
