Fereghan (Farahan)

Fereghan carpets proved popular with the European and American markets and remains so today.  As limits of the Fereghan region have never been defined , rugs and carpets sometimes attributed either to Fereghan or Sarouk.  In the industry they are also called Sarouk Fereghan.  The allover Herati pattern is the most common Fereghan design.
